Zusammenfassung:	The control appts.(200) regulates the pre-load supplied to machinery bearings that journal a rotation machinery member such as a shaft to a stationary member. Two pairs of trust sensors (137a,137b), mounted adjacent to the bearing, provide an electrical output signal indicative of bearing trusts. The output signal is supplied to an a-d converter(218) supplying an electronic processing circuit(220), typically a microcomputer. The pressure regulator(225) changes the pre-load to optimize the bearing conditions.
