Zusammenfassung:	A viscose rayon spinning process comprises extrusion into a coagulation bath to form filaments having a coagulation index of 15-18, with concurrent stretching to a desired final stretch ratio. The filaments then travel outside the bath and spontaneously sttain a coagulation index between 5-8, before traveling through an acid bath at 50-100oC to attain a coagulation index between 0-1. Pref. the acid bath contains H2So4, ZnSO4, Na2So4. Specifically, the coagulation stages are 15-40 secs. in duration at filament speeds of 100-120m per minute. spinning speeds are increased by 20-50%.
