Zusammenfassung:Polymerized 2, 2, 4-trimethyl-1, 2-dihydroquinolines are obtd. by polymerizing 15-25 wt. % of 2, 2, 4-trimethyl-1, 2-dihydroquinoline monomers in the presesnce of 0.2-0.5 moles of hydrochloric acid. The polymerized products have 25 wt. % of dimerized 2, 2, 4-trimethyl-1, 2-dihydroquinoline, and are excellent antioxidants for rubbers.
