Si-OR, Si-OCOR, or Si-NR2 (R is hydroxycarbyl); (c) Ti-halide or Ti-haloalcoholate compd. having a solid support of active anhydrous Mg-dihalide; and (d) mono- or di-esters of aromatic carboxylic acid having COOH at an ortho-position while R of COOR contains 3-20C.
