LOW VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER RELAY

The low voltage transformer relay includes a core, a primary winding, a secondary winding, the source of counter flux, sources of latching flux, a flux return bracket, and an armature. The source of operating flux is the primary winding and the secondary winding. This operating flus is carried by the core. Sources of latching flux are positioned between the ferromagnetic core and the flux return bracket, one on either side of gap. Preferably, the sources of latching flux are also plastiform flexible, permanent magnets. These flux sources generate a magnetic flux conducted through the flux return bracket and armature.
