Zusammenfassung:	A mixing & kneading machine includes a pair of parallel rotors(2,3) rotating in opposite directions within a mixing chamber(1) defined by a casing & an end frame. Each rotor has long & short vanes(4,5), both of which extend spirally about the center line of the rotors. It is claimed that the screwing direction of the long vane is same as that of the short vane and the flow of the material to be mixed along the axial direction of the rotors is in opposite directions to each other.
