Zusammenfassung:	Title compd. and its salts, effective against coccidia and bacteria, were prepd. by fermentation. Thus, streptomyces hygroscopicus DS24367 was grown in a medium contg. sol. distillates, bean oil, glycerin, glucose monohydrate, NaCl, CoCl36H2O and tap water. The fermn. brew was filtered, extd. with CH2Cl2 and concd. under reduced press. For purifn. hexan was slowly poured into the CH2Cl2 conc. at roon temp. and filtrate. The filtrsate was concd under reduced press., stirred for 2 hr at 0 C and held at 4 C for 24 hr for crystallization. The final products were obtained by purifying with active carbon.
