ICE MAKER

The present invention relates to an ice maker installed in a refrigerator and providing ice in an ice storage compartment. The icemaker according to one embodiment of the present invention may include: a tray made of a thermally conductive composite material in which water is contained to form ice and heat is generated when current is supplied; a tray cap connected to an upper part of the tray to reduce an upper area of the tray and prevent the water contained therein from overflowing due to inertia generated by movement of the tray; a frame part to which the tray is connected; electrodes connected to both sides of the tray; and a motor part connected to the tray to rotate the tray so that the ice is separated from the tray by gravity. 냉장고에 설치되어 얼음보관함에 얼음을 제공하는 제빙기에 있어서, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 제빙기는, 물이 담겨 얼음이 형성되고, 전류가 공급되면 발열되는 열전도성 복합소재로 이루어진 트레이, 상기 트레이 상부에 연결되어 상기 트레이 상부면적을 줄여, 상기 트레이의 이동에 의해 발생된 관성에 의해 담겨진 상기 물이 넘치는 것을 방지하는 트레이캡, 상기 트레이가 연결되는 프레임부, 상기 트레이 양측으로 연결되는 전극 및 상기 트레이와 연결되어 상기 얼음이 중력에 의해 상기 트레이로부터 이탈되도록 상기 트레이를 회전시키는 모터부를 포함할 수 있다.
