METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BEAM CONTROL FOR DIRECT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN TERMINALS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The present disclosure provides a beam control and beam management method required for direct communication between terminals in a wireless communication system or a mobile communication system. The method performed by the first terminal for direct communication between the first terminal and the second terminal in the wireless communication system comprises the steps of: a first terminal transmitting a first message for triggering a beam control procedure to a second terminal; a first terminal receiving a beam-related reference signal from the second terminal; the first terminal determining a new beam for direct communication between the terminals; and the first terminal transmitting information on the new beam to the second terminal.
