Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a battery pack configured to ensure structural stability even if a thermal event occurs, and a vehicle including the same. The battery pack according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a battery module, and a pack housing which houses the battery module in a module accommodation unit and comprises an opening/closing member configured to emit venting gas or flames according to thermal runaway of the battery module to an outside of the module accommodation unit. 열적 이벤트가 발생한 경우에도 구조적 안정성이 확보될 수 있도록 구성된 배터리 팩 및 이를 포함하는 자동차를 제공한다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 배터리 팩은, 배터리 모듈 및 상기 배터리 모듈을 모듈 수용부 내에 수용하고, 상기 배터리 모듈의 열 폭주에 따른 벤팅 가스 또는 화염을 상기 모듈 수용부의 외부로 배출 가능하게 구성된 개폐 부재를 구비한 팩 하우징을 포함한다.
