METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DUAL CONNECTIVITY MANAGEMENT IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for dual connectivity management performed by a dual connectivity management apparatus included in an embodiment of a communication system, comprises the steps of: identifying one or more terminals, for which a dual connection using a jth base station as a master base station is established, among terminals included in the jth base station among J base stations included in the communication system; identifying whether a terminal to which traffic is to be distributed is present based on a channel quality value with the jth base station, among the one or more terminals for which the dual connection is established; determining a traffic distribution ratio for the one or more terminals, to which the traffic is to be distributed, when the one or more terminals, to which the traffic is to be distributed, are present; and causing the jth base station to instruct to distribute the traffic for the one or more terminals, to which the traffic is to be distributed, to a slave base station for each of the one or more terminals, to which the traffic is to be distributed.
