DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF

Provided is a display device, which includes: a display panel: a temperature sensor which detects an ambient temperature and outputs a first temperature signal corresponding to the detected ambient temperature; a memory which receives a memory power supply voltage and stores a compensation signal; a driving controller which receives an input image signal, and provides the display panel with an output image signal which is obtained by compensating for the input image signal based on the compensation signal from the memory; and a voltage generator which generates the memory power supply voltage in response to a voltage control signal. The driving controller outputs the voltage control signal such that the memory power supply voltage has a voltage level corresponding to the first temperature signal.
