ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING FLEXIBLE DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR THEREOF

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a first housing; a second housing which is movably arranged with respect to the first housing, and is overlapped with at least one portion of the first housing; a flexible display which is at least partially mounted on the surface of the second housing, and of which at least one portion shrinks by being inserted into the first housing based on the movement of the second housing in the first direction with respect to the first housing, or expands by being ejected from the inside of the first housing based on the movement of the second housing in the second direction with respect to the first housing; and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be set to: based on the satisfaction of a first condition which is predetermined related to the touch input of the user by means of the flexible display, output a first display signal to display a notification related to the expansion or shrinking of the flexible display on the flexible display; in a state in which the notification is displayed on the flexible display based on the outputted first display signal, identify whether a second condition which is predetermined related to the notification is satisfied; and, in case the predetermined second condition is satisfied, output an operation signal related to the movement of the second housing in the first direction or the second direction.
