Provided is a technology for improving the reliability of a laminated ceramic electronic component. The laminated ceramic electronic component comprises: a plurality of internal electrodes laminated in a first axis direction; a ceramic unprocessed body having an end portion surface which is perpendicular to a second axis orthogonal to the first axis and from which the plurality of internal electrodes are drawn; and an external electrode covering the end portion surface of the unprocessed body. The external electrode has an underlayer, a first Ni layer, a second Ni layer, a surface layer, and a metal layer. The underlayer is formed on the end portion surface and is connected to the plurality of internal electrodes. The first Ni layer is formed on the underlayer. The second Ni layer is formed on the first Ni layer. The surface layer is formed on the second Ni layer.
