Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a rainwater retention device for trees and an installation method thereof, and more specifically, to a rainwater retention device comprising a plurality of reservoir pillars which is installed at regular intervals in the ground around the tree, a reservoir plate which is provided between two adjacent reservoir pillars to prevent rainwater from moving, and a coupling part which couples the reservoir plate to the reservoir pillar. According to the present invention as described above, the rainwater that falls is stored around the tree and penetrates into the ground around the tree for a long period of time to be supplied to the roots thereof, thereby helping the growth of the tree. 본 발명은 수목용 빗물 저류장치 및 이의 설치방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 수목 주변 지중에 일정 간격으로 설치되는 복수의 저류기둥, 인접한 두 개의 저류기둥 사이에 구비되어 빗물이 이동되는 것을 방지하기 위한 저류판, 및 상기 저류판을 저류기둥에 결합시키기 위한 결합부,를 포함한다. 상기와 같은 본 발명에 의하면, 내리는 빗물을 수목 주변에 저장시켜 수목 주변 지중으로 장기간 침투시켜 뿌리로 공급함에 따라, 수목의 생육을 도울 수 있다.
