METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING AIRPORT BAGGAGE

Disclosed are a method and system for processing airport baggage, which may reduce the construction space for facility installation. The method processing airport baggage implemented by the system for processing air baggage that interworks with an airline server in real time comprises: a step of filming baggage through a plurality of vision cameras installed on a conveyor line on which the baggage is transferred; a step of reading and acquiring first tag information associated with a barcode attached to the baggage from an image obtained by filming the baggage; a step of processing the image obtained by filming the baggage, recognizing volume and color information on the baggage, and storing the information in a first database; a step of recognizing, when the baggage is unrecognized baggage from which the first tag information is not read and acquired, a certain number of volume and color information stored in a second database different from the first database and corresponding second tag information during a transferring time set from a storage timing of the volume and color information on the unrecognized baggage in the first database; a step of estimating second tag information corresponding to volume and color information most similar to the volume and color information on the unrecognized baggage as first tag information on the unrecognized baggage in the certain number of volume and color information; a step of checking a destination carousel of the baggage by using the estimated first tag information; and a step of automatically categorizing and transferring the baggage through categorization equipment connected to the conveyor line so that the baggage reaches the destination carousel. 공항 수하물 처리 방법 및 시스템이 개시된다. 본 발명의 항공사 서버와 실시간 연동하는 공항 수하물 처리 시스템에 의해 구현되는 공항 수하물 처리 방법은, 수하물이 이송되는 컨베이어 라인 상에 설치된 복수의 비젼 카메라를 통해 수하물을 촬영하는 단계와, 수하물을 촬영한 이미지로부터 수하물에 부착된 바코드와 연관된 제1 태그 정보를 독취하는 단계와, 수하물을 촬영한 이미지를 처리하여, 수하물에 대한 체적정보 및 색상정보를 인식하여, 제1 데이터베이스에 저장하는 단계와, 수하물이, 상기 제1 태그 정보가 독취되지 않는 미인식 수하물인 경우, 미인식 수하물의 제1 데이터베이스 내 체적정보 및 색상정보의 저장 시점으로부터 설정된 이전 시간 동안, 제1 데이터베이스와 상이한 제2 데이터베이스에 저장된 일정 수의 체적정보 및 색상정보와 그에 대응하는 제2 태그 정보를 식별하는 단계와, 상기 일정 수의 체적정보 및 색상정보 중에서, 상기 미인식 수하물의 체적정보 및 색상정보와 가장 유사한 체적정보 및 색상정보에 대응하는 제2 태그 정보를, 상기 미인식 수하물의 제1 태그 정보로서 추정하는 단계와, 상기 추정된 제1 태그 정보를 이용하여, 상기 수하물의 목적지 케로셀을 확인하는 단계, 및 상기 목적지 케로셀로 상기 수하물이 도달되도록, 상기 컨베이어 라인과 연결된 분류 장비를 통해, 상기 수하물을 자동 분류하여 이송하는 단계를 포함한다.
