Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a high-capacity and highly reversible negative electrode and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The high-capacity and highly reversible negative electrode has a potential similar to a lithium metal by coating a conductive carbon material on a negative electrode substrate to form a carbon layer and by intercalating lithium in the carbon layer to store the lithium. The negative electrode manufactured thereby has excellent reversibility and a large capacity because a change in volume of the negative electrode is less than that of a conventional lithium metal negative electrode to have few side reactions such as dendrite generation occurring. 본 발명은 고용량 고가역성 음극과 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것으로, 상기 고용량 고가역성 음극은 음극 기재 상에 전도성 탄소 물질을 코팅하여 탄소층을 형성하고, 리튬을 상기 탄소층에 층간 삽입(intercalation)시켜 저장함으로써 리튬 금속과 비슷한 전위를 갖는 특징이 있다. 이와 같이 제조된 음극은 종래 리튬 금속 음극보다 음극의 부피 변화가 적어 덴드라이트 발생과 같은 부반응이 적게 발생하여 가역성이 우수하며 용량이 큰 장점을 갖는다.
