Since the aptamer of the present invention binds to EGFRvIII with high binding affinity, the aptamer can be applied to the detection of EGFRvIII or the diagnosis of cancer expressing EGFRvIII. 본 발명은 EGFRvIII (epidermal growth factor receptor variant III) 특이적 압타머 및 이를 이용한 EGFRvIII 검출 또는 암 진단에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 압타머는 EGFRvIII에 대해 높은 결합력으로 결합하므로 EGFRvIII 검출 또는 EGFRvIII를 발현하는 암의 진단에 적용할 수 있다.
