Provided is a blockchain-based radioactive waste management system, which includes: at least one radioactive waste storage; a sensor device attached to the radioactive waste storage to collect environmental information and location information; a blockchain network which includes radioactive waste container information and sensor information and verifies the transactions of data obtained from the sensor device; and a monitoring device which provides warnings and notifications based on the environmental information and location information of the radioactive waste storage. 본 발명은 블록체인 기반의 방사성 폐기물 관리 시스템에 있어서, 적어도 하나 이상의 방사성폐기물저장고, 상기 방사성폐기물저장고에 부착되어 환경정보 및 위치정보를 수집하는 센서장치, 방사성폐기물 용기 정보와 센서 정보를 포함하고, 상기 센서장치에서 획득되는 데이터의 트랜잭션에 대한 검증을 수행하는 블록체인 네트워크 및 상기 방사성폐기물저장고의 환경정보 및 위치정보에 기초하여 경고 및 알림을 제공하는 모니터링 장치를 포함하는 블록체인 기반의 방사성폐기물 관리 시스템을 개시한다.
