Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a case for a secondary battery, which accommodates an electrode assembly. The case of the present invention comprises: a lower member; an upper member disposed above the lower member; and a sealing portion for sealing the case by fusion of the lower member and the upper member, wherein the sealing portion includes a first sealing portion where an electrode terminal connected to the electrode assembly is present and a second sealing portion present except for the first sealing portion. The case for a secondary battery according to the present invention further comprises: a polymer resin layer formed on the edge of the first sealing portion; and a reinforcement layer surrounding the polymer resin layer, thereby enhancing water resistance, insulation, and mechanical properties.
