More particularly, disclosed is a monitoring device which executes the care mode for a selected care recipient, acquires at least one among movement data of the care recipient and environmental data surrounding the care recipient, controls the operation of external devices based on the acquired data, and outputs notifications as needed. 케어 모드를 기반으로 하는 모니터링 장치가 개시된다. 구체적으로, 선택된 케어 대상의 케어 모드를 실행하고, 케어 대상의 움직임 데이터 및 케어 대상 주변의 환경 데이터 중 적어도 하나를 획득하고, 획득한 데이터를 기반으로 외부 장치의 동작을 제어하고, 필요에 따라 알림을 출력하는, 모니터링 장치가 개시된다.
