ELECTRONIC DEVICE GENERATING HAPTIC SIGNAL AND METHOD THEREOF

According to various embodiments disclosed in the present document, an electronic device comprises a haptic module that comprises at least a motor and outputs tactile signals; a sound output module that comprises at least one of a speaker and a receiver; and a processor that is operatively connected to the haptic module and the sound output module. The processor can be configured to: obtain audio data and signals related to audio data playback; determine whether to generate haptic data based on the audio data; generate haptic data based on the audio data in response to the determination; reproduce the audio data based on the signals related to the audio data playback through the sound output module; and control the haptic module to output the tactile signals based on the generated haptic data.
