The present invention relates to a method for culturing stem cells from hair follicle and use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for culturing stem cells from hair follicles; a hair follicle-derived stem cell prepared thereby, a pharmaceutical composition for treating hair loss or promoting hair growth, comprising the prepared hair follicle-derived stem cells, a culture thereof, or cells differentiated from the hair follicle-derived stem cells as an active ingredient, a quasi-drug composition, and a cosmetic composition. According to the method of the present invention, stem cells can be effectively isolated and obtained from hair follicle tissues and the obtained hair follicle-derived stem cells have excellent multi-differentiation and self-replication abilities.
