ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

An electronic device of the present invention comprises: a memory for storing content; a communication interface for communicating with at least one node device among a plurality of node devices connected through serial communication; at least one target node device corresponding to a user command among the plurality of node devices; and a processor. The processor obtains a control command corresponding to a user command, generates an Ethernet frame including a data field based on content and the control command, and sends the generated Ethernet frame to any one of at least one node device through the communication interface. The data field included in the Ethernet frame includes a content area in which information about the content is stored and a plurality of node areas corresponding to each of a plurality of node devices. The control command is stored in a node area corresponding to at least one target node device among the plurality of node areas.
