Scribe Head and Scribe Apparatus

Provided is a technology related to a scribe head unit capable of reliably preventing dust from being penetrated into a sliding unit of a linear guide by air purge when the linear guide without a seal member is employed. A scribe head (1) of the present invention comprises: a holder maintaining unit (2) which maintains a scribing tool (1) forming a scribe line on a brittle material substrate (F); a linear guide (30) which supports the holder maintaining unit (2) to be vertically moved; and a stay member (6) on which the holder maintaining unit (2) is mounted via the linear guide (30), wherein a purge mechanism which purges dust to prevent the dust from entering the linear guide (30) is provided so as to surround a periphery of the linear guide (30).
