The present invention relates to a device, which performs light irradiation to remove organic substances from the entire rear surface of a corresponding substrate without unnecessary treatment on a surface of a substrate. The device comprises: a substrate holding support unit for locally overlapping a rear surface of a substrate to hold and support the same; a light irradiation unit for irradiating the rear surface with light to remove organic substances of the rear surface of the substrate; a light blocking member provided on the rear surface of the substrate to be spaced from the rear surface so as to prevent supply of the light to a surface of the substrate; and a holding support position change mechanism for changing a holding support position by the substrate holding support unit on the rear surface of the substrate to irradiate the entire rear surface of the substrate with light. 본 발명은, 기판의 표면측에의 불필요한 처리가 이루어지지 않고, 당해 기판의 이면 전체에서 유기물이 제거되도록 광 조사를 행한다. 기판의 이면에 국소적으로 겹쳐서 보유 지지하는 기판 보유 지지부와, 상기 기판의 이면의 유기물을 제거하기 위해서, 당해 이면에 광을 조사하는 광 조사부와, 상기 기판의 표면에의 상기 광의 공급이 방지되도록, 상기 기판의 이면측에 당해 이면으로부터 이격되어 마련되는 차광 부재와, 상기 기판의 이면 전체에 광을 조사하기 위해서, 당해 기판의 이면에서의 상기 기판 보유 지지부에 의한 보유 지지 위치를 변경하는 보유 지지 위치 변경 기구를 구비하도록 장치를 구성한다.
