DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF THE DISPLAY DEVICE

In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a display device is disclosed. The display device includes: a lower substrate; a light emitting element disposed on the lower substrate; an upper substrate disposed on the lower substrate such that the light emitting element is interposed therebetween; a bank disposed on the lower surface of the upper substrate opposed to the lower substrate, and having a center opening and a peripheral opening; a functional layer disposed in the center opening, and including at least one of a color-changing material and a scatterer; and a column spacer disposed on the bank and opposed to the lower substrate, where a distance from the outer surface of the column spacer to the inner surface of the bank defining the peripheral opening is 15 μm or longer in a plan view.
