The present invention relates to an energy storage system to guarantee long life and high operating stability at high energy densities. According to the present invention, the energy storage system (1) comprises a housing (2) in which a plurality of storage cells (3) are disposed, wherein the storage cells (3) are separated from each other by a device (4) disposed between the storage cells (3), the device (4) includes two or more layers (5, 6), the first layer (5) forms a pressure layer, and the second layer (6) forms an isolation layer. 본 발명은 에너지 저장 시스템(energy storage system)(1)에 관한 것으로, 상기 에너지 저장 시스템은, 그 내부에 복수의 저장 셀(storage cell)(3)이 배치되어 있는 하우징(housing)(2)을 포함하고, 이때 상기 저장 셀들(3)은 상기 저장 셀들(3) 사이에 배치된 장치(4)에 의해 서로 분리되어 있고, 이때 상기 장치(4)는 두 개 이상의 층(5, 6)을 포함하며, 이때 제1 층(5)은 압착층(pressure layer)을 형성하고 제2 층(6)은 격리층(isolation layer)을 형성한다.
