In-Wheel Motor Assembly Having Rotor Bracket Having Cooling Aid Protrusion

In accordance with the present invention, an in-wheel motor assembly including a rotor bracket provided with a cooling auxiliary protrusion, includes: a rotor comprising a rotor bracket connected to have an axis of rotation concentric with an axis of rotation of a vehicle wheel, and a magnet ring provided along the periphery of the rotor bracket with a plurality of permanent magnets disposed therein; a stator including a plurality of coils disposed along the periphery of the rotor, rotating the rotor with a magnetomotive force; and a motor housing provided to surround the rotor and the stator, and storing a cooling fluid for cooling and lubrication therein, wherein the rotor bracket includes a cooling auxiliary protrusion protruding laterally with respect to the direction of rotation of the rotor, increasing the fluidity of the cooling fluid housed inside the motor housing upon the rotation of the rotor.
