Zusammenfassung:Disclosed are a server for determining a posture type and an operation method thereof, capable of determining the posture type of an object by applying key points to spatial coordinates. The server comprises: an image processing part that generates 3D spatial coordinates using a 2D image and identifies the object; a measuring part that assigns 3D coordinates to each key point of the object and measures the coordinate change of the key point in the spatial coordinates; and a determination part (240) that analyzes the coordinate change of the key point to determine the posture type of the object. 본 발명은 상기 2차원의 영상을 이용하여 3차원의 공간좌표를 생성하고, 객체를 식별하는 영상처리부, 상기 객체의 키 포인트별로 3차원의 좌표를 부여하고, 공간좌표에서 키 포인트의 좌표변화를 측정하는 측정부 및 상기 키 포인트의 좌표변화를 분석하여 객체의 자세유형을 판별하는 판별부(240)를 포함하여, 상기 키 포인트를 공간좌표에 적용하여 객체의 자세유형을 판별하는 자세유형 판별을 위한 서버 및 그 동작방법을 개시한다.
