Zusammenfassung:An electron emission source according to the disclosed present invention comprises: an emitter part provided with at least one tip wherein an end part is formed with a pointed end, and emits an electron; and a gate part that faces the emitter part and extracts the electron emitted from the emitter part, wherein the end part of the tip extends to pass through the gate part so that the gate part is located on a rear side based on the emission direction of the electron. According to this configuration, a leakage current of a voltage extracted from the gate part can be reduced, thereby being advantageous in improving power efficiency and increasing a lifespan. 개시된 본 발명에 의한 전자 방출 소스는, 단부가 뾰족한 첨단 형상의 팁이 적어도 하나 마련되어, 전자를 방출하는 에미터부 및, 에미터부와 마주하여, 에미터부에서 방출된 전자를 추출하는 게이트부를 포함하며, 팁의 단부는 전자의 방출 방향을 기준으로 게이트부가 후측에 위치하도록, 게이트부를 통과하도록 연장된다. 이러한 구성에 의하면, 게이트부에서 추출되는 전압의 누설 전류를 저감할 수 있어 전력 효율을 향상시킴과 아울러, 수명 증가에 유리하다.
