Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a controller for a user to control a vehicle with one hand. Provided are a controller and an operation method thereof, wherein the controller includes a user interface which outputs status information of a vehicle and receives steering information of the vehicle using a plurality of modalities, and the plurality of modalities include tilt modality of a hand, deviation modality of a wrist, translation modality of the hand, and flexion modality of fingers. 사용자가 비클(vehicle)을 한 손(one-hand)으로 제어하기 위한 컨트롤러에 있어서, 복수의 모달리티(modality)를 이용하여, 비클의 상태 정보를 출력하고 비클의 조종 정보를 입력 받는 사용자 인터페이스를 포함하고, 복수의 모달리티는, 손의 경사(tilting) 모달리티, 손목의 편위(deviation) 모달리티, 손의 병진(translation) 모달리티, 손가락의 굴곡(flexion) 모달리티를 포함하는 컨트롤러 및 그의 동작 방법을 제공한다.
