Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of one aspect of the present invention is to provide a degradation diagnostic apparatus for an XLPE insulator, which allows on-site diagnosis of the degradation state of the XLPE insulator based on color changes of the XLPE insulator due to an abnormality in a power cable. A degradation diagnostic apparatus for an XLPE insulator of the present invention comprises: a scanner for scanning a cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulator; a color difference analysis unit for detecting color difference information by analyzing images acquired by the scanner; and a diagnostic unit for diagnosing the degradation state of the XLPE insulator using the color difference information analyzed by the color difference analysis unit. 본 발명의 XPLE 절연체 열화 진단 장치는 XLPE(Cross linked polyethylene) 절연체를 스캐닝하는 스캐너; 스캐너에 의해 획득된 이미지를 분석하여 색차 정보를 검출하는 색차 분석부; 및 색차 분석부에 의해 분석된 색차 정보를 이용하여 XLPE 절연체의 열화 상태를 진단하는 진단부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
