Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a battery management apparatus and an operation method thereof. The battery management apparatus according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise: a sensing unit which senses a battery voltage; and a controller which determines a status of a battery based on cycle information related to a usage cycle of the battery and an abnormality count value related to presence or absence of abnormality in the battery voltage.
