Vessel collision prevention device system and method through image-based proximity vessel detection

The present invention relates to a collision prevention device, system and method through image-based proximity vessel detection, which can prevent an accident involving a ship collision with a maritime route sign. According to the present invention, the collision prevention device is installed on the maritime route sign, and includes a camera unit and a control unit. The camera unit captures marine images around the maritime route sign. In addition, the control unit receives the marine images taken by the camera unit, detects a ship included in the marine image through image analysis of the received marine image and extracts nearby vessels, calculates the distance between the extracted nearby vessel and the maritime route sign, and performs a ship collision prevention process when a collision risk according to the calculated distance is below a threshold. 본 발명은 해상 항로 표지에 선박이 충돌하는 사고를 예방할 수 있는 영상 기반 근접 선박 검출을 통한 충돌 예방 장치, 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 충돌 예방 장치는 해상 항로 표지에 설치되며, 카메라부 및 제어부를 포함한다. 카메라부는 해상 항로 표지 주변의 해양 영상을 촬영한다. 그리고 제어부는 카메라부로부터 촬영한 해양 영상을 수신하고, 수신한 해양 영상에 대한 영상 분석을 통해서 해양 영상에 포함되어 있는 선박을 검출하여 근접 선박을 추출하고, 추출한 근접 선박과 해상 항로 표지 간의 거리를 산출하고, 산출한 거리에 따른 충돌 위험도가 임계값 이하인 경우 선박 충돌 예방 프로세스를 수행한다.
