Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an electrode, a secondary battery comprising the same, and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention can realize the designed capacity of the secondary battery and at the same time ensure safety. According to one aspect of the present invention, the electrode comprises: a current collector; an active material portion located on at least one surface of the current collector; and an uncoated portion in which the active material portion is not located, wherein the active material portion is located in face of the current collector and includes: a central portion; a sliding portion extending from both ends of the central portion and having a thickness thinner than the central portion; a first active material layer including a first active material, a first binder, and a first conductive material; and a second active material layer located on the sliding portion of the first active material layer and including a second active material, a second binder, and a second conductive material and the capacity per unit area of the second active material layer is greater than the capacity per unit area of the first active material layer. 본 발명은 전극, 이를 포함하는 이차전지 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 이차전지의 설계 용량을 구현함과 동시에, 안전성을 확보할 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 양태에 따른 전극은, 집전체; 및 상기 집전체의 적어도 일면에 위치하는 활물질부 및 상기 활물질부가 위치하지 않는 무지부를 구비하고, 상기 활물질부는 상기 집전체와 면접하여 위치하고, 중앙부 및 상기 중양부의 양단에서 연장되어 상기 중앙부 보다 얇은 두께를 가지는 슬라이딩부를 구비하고, 제1 활물질, 제1 바인더 및 제1 도전재를 포함하는 제1 활물질층; 및 상기 제1 활물질층의 슬라이딩부 상에 위치하고, 제2 활물질, 제2 바인더 및 제2 도전재를 포함하는 제2 활물질층;을 구비하고, 상기 제2 활물질층의 단위면적당 용량이 상기 제1 활물질층의 단위면적당 용량 보다 큰 것을 특징으로 한다.
