Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to one-pot synthesis of polymerizable and non-cyclic urea (meth)acrylates, preferably mono(meth)acrylates, via in situ synthesis of urea alcohols or amines, followed by direct reaction with (meth)acrylate reactive diluents. Urea alcohols/amines are obtained from isocyanates and alcohols, amines or hydroxylamines. Subsequently, a reaction occurs with the (meth)acrylate reactive diluent, and urea (meth)acrylate is obtained directly as a solution in the reactive diluent or as a pure substance after removal of the reactive diluent. The objective of the present invention is to provide a new method for preparing novel (meth)acrylate-based monomers for (aqueous) emulsion polymers applied in coatings or adhesives.
