Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an austenitic stainless steel, containing, by weight %, 0.005-0.03 wt% of C, 0.1-1 wt% of Si, 0.1-2 wt% of Mn, 0.01-0.4 wt% of Cu, 0.01-0.2 wt% of Mo, 6-9 wt% of Ni, 16-10 wt% of Cr, 0.01-0.2 wt% of N, the remaining Fe, and unavoidable impurities. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an austenitic stainless steel, comprising the steps of: manufacturing a slab by casting austenitic stainless steel; cold-rolling the slab with a cold rolling reduction ratio of 60% or more after performing hot rolling, annealing and pickling of the slab; and annealing at an annealing temperature in a range of 800-850℃. Therefore, the present invention can provide an ultra-fine manufacturing technology capable of realizing high strength and high ductility for a purpose of replacing 304-series and 301-series austenitic stainless steel sheets with tempered materials for automobile exterior panels, building parts, and automobile parts.
