Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides at least a nickel-rich positive electrode active material and a secondary battery having improved capacity and lifespan characteristics including the positive electrode active material. The nickel-rich positive electrode active material minimizes the displacement of nickel ions and lithium ions by substituting three types of elements and has excellent lithium ion diffusivity. The nickel content is more than 60 %. A site-exchange ratio between nickel ions and lithium ions is less than 0.46 %. 본 발명은 적어도 3종의 다종 원소가 치환되어 니켈 이온과 리튬 이온의 자리바꿈 현상이 최소화되고, 우수한 리튬이온 확산성을 갖는 니켈 리치 양극활물질, 및 상기 양극활물질을 포함하여 용량 및 수명 특성이 개선된 이차전지를 제공한다.
