Ectoine can be rapidly and efficiently mass-produced by using the composition and the production method of the present invention. 본 발명은 엑토인 생산 능력이 향상된 메탄자화균, 및 엑토인 생산을 촉진하는 성분을 함유하는 배지;를 포함하는 엑토인 생산 촉진용 조성물 및 이를 이용한 엑토인을 효율적으로 대량 생산하는 생산 촉진 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 조성물 및 생산 방법을 이용하면 엑토인을 신속하고 효율적으로 대량 생산할 수 있다.
