Mask apparatus and controlling method thereof

A mask apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a mask body in which a microphone and a speaker are installed; a face guard which is coupled to the mask body, comes in close contact with a person's face, and has a breathing space formed therein; a pressure sensor which is installed on the mask body, and measures the pressure of the breathing space; and a control unit which compares the current pressure value measured by the pressure sensor with a reference pressure value, and controls sound output of the speaker based on a difference between the current pressure value and the reference pressure value. 본 발명에 따른 마스크 장치는, 마이크로폰과 스피커가 설치되는 마스크 바디; 상기 마스크 바디에 결합되며 사람의 안면에 밀착되고, 내측에 호흡 공간이 형성되는 페이스 가드; 상기 마스크 바디에 설치되며, 상기 호흡 공간의 압력을 측정하는 압력 센서; 및 상기 압력 센서에서 측정된 현재 압력값과 기준 압력값을 비교하고, 상기 현재 압력값과 상기 기준 압력값의 차이에 기초하여 상기 스피커의 음성 출력을 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
