HYDROXYPHENYL-TERMINATED POLYSILOXANE POLYSILOXANE-POLYCARBONATE COPOLYMER COMPRISING THE SAME AS REPEATED UNIT WITH EXCELLENT TRANSPARENCY AND IMPROVED FLAME RETARDANCY AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE COPOLYMER

The present invention relates to a hydroxyphenyl-terminated polysiloxane, a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer comprising the same as a repeating unit, and a method for preparing the copolymer, and more specifically, to a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer, which contains polysiloxane of a specific structure having a terminal silane unit containing an optionally substituted hydroxyphenyl group, and polysiloxane and polycarbonate blocks as repeating units, and has significantly improved flame retardancy while having excellent transparency above the level of conventional polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymers, and a preparation method thereof. 본 발명은 히드록시페닐-말단 폴리실록산, 이를 반복 단위로서 포함하는 폴리실록산-폴리카보네이트 공중합체 및 그 공중합체 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 임의로 치환된 히드록시페닐기를 포함하는 말단 실란 단위를 갖는 특정 구조의 폴리실록산, 및 이 폴리실록산과 폴리카보네이트 블록을 반복단위로 포함하며, 종래의 폴리실록산-폴리카보네이트 공중합체 수준 이상으로 투명성이 우수하면서 난연성이 그보다 현저히 향상된 폴리실록산-폴리카보네이트 공중합체와 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
