Zusammenfassung: | Provided is a manufacturing method of high-purity propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PGMEA), which comprises a step of synthesizing PGMEA by removing water, which is produced when propylene glycol monomethyl ether (PGME) and acetic acid are reacted under p-toluenesulfonic acid catalyst in a reactor, with an azeotropic agent. An object of the present invention is to provide the method for effectively synthesizing and mass-producing the high-purity PGMEA in a mass production process of the PGMEA.
반응기에서 프로필렌 글리콜 모노 메틸 에테르 (Propylene glycol monomethyl ether; PGME)와 아세트산을 p-톨루엔술폰산 촉매 하에서 반응시키면서 생성된 물을 공비제를 통해 제거하여 글리콜 메틸 에테르 아세테이트(Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate; PGMEA)를 합성하는 단계를 포함하는 PGMEA 제조 방법이 제공된다. |
