GAM APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING PATENT DATA USING GAM

The present specification relates to patent data analysis device and method, and more specifically, to patent data analysis device and method using GAM. The patent data analysis method according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises the steps of: generating a patent matrix including the keywords from a plurality of patent data; calculating a P-value, which is the probability of significance for each keyword, from the patent matrix using a generalized additive model (GAM); generating a plurality of regression plots based on the frequency of appearance of each of the keywords by comparing the P value with a preset reference value; and creating a technical diagram classifying the keywords according to the slope of a plurality of regression plots.
