PNEUMATIC HAPTIC DEVICE HAVING ACTUATION CELLS FOR PRODUCING A HAPTIC OUTPUT OVER A BED MATTRESS

The present invention relates to a pressure mapping system, which includes a sensing pad positioned between a user and a bed. The sensing pad may include an array of actuation cells, each of which within the array of actuation cells is configured to operate in response to fluid being introduced into the actuation cell. The sensing pad may also include an array of pressure sensors, each of which within the array of pressure sensors is configured to output pressure measurements.
