Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a control device of an energy storage system for storing renewable energy and a method thereof which predict a power generation amount by analyzing prediction information and actual measurement information based on information on a power generation amount of renewable energy and information on weather, calculate an output amount of the energy storage system in consideration of a change according to the power generation amount to control charging and discharging of the energy storage system so as to alleviate irregularities in a power generation amount of renewable energy, thereby having effects of stably supplying power in response to demand power, increasing efficiency of control and facility operations in a limited facility, and increasing profitability according to power production. 본 발명은 신재생 에너지를 저장하는 에너지 저장 시스템의 제어장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 신재생 에너지의 발전량에 대한 정보와 날씨에 대한 정보를 바탕으로 예측정보와 실제 측정정보를 분석하여 발전량을 예측하고, 상기 발전량에 따른 변화를 고려하여 에너지 저장 시스템의 출력량을 산출하여 에너지 저장 시스템의 충전 및 방전을 제어함으로써, 재생 에너지의 발전량의 불규칙성을 완화시켜 수요 전력에 대응하여 안정적으로 전력을 공급하고, 한정된 설비 내에서 제어 및 설비 운용의 효율성이 향상되고, 전력생산에 따른 수익성이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
