Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a prebiotic composition, a composition for improving intestinal microorganisms, and a composition for increasing intestinal health or an intestinal function which contain a gellan gum as an active ingredient to induce growth of beneficial bacteria in an intestine, thereby increasing intestinal health or an intestinal function and enabling prevention or treatment therefor. 본 발명은 프리바이오틱(prebiotic) 조성물, 장내 미생물 개선용 조성물, 장건강 또는 장기능 개선용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 젤란검(gellan gum)을 유효성분으로 함유함으로써, 장내 유익균의 증식을 유도하여, 장건강 또는 장기능을 개선, 예방 또는 치료할 수 있다. 또한, 독성이 없으므로 식품의 형태로 섭취할 수 있다.
