ONLINE EDUCATION SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD

The present invention relates to an online education system centered on learner understanding and a method therefor. The online education system comprises: a problem DB storing a plurality of problems including mathematical formulas according to difficulty levels; a concept DB storing a supplementary explanation for elements necessary to solve each of the stored problems and a problem-solving process; a concept trainer presenting a problem extracted from the problem DB to a learner terminal accessible through a communication network, and presenting a supplementary explanation for elements necessary to solve the presented problem and a problem-solving process according to a request by a learner; a concept tester extracting a test problem for testing understanding of the elements necessary to solve the presented problem from the problem DB, presenting the same to the learner terminal, and checking weakness of the learner according to a feedback response; and a weakness complement trainer extracting problems necessary to supplement the weakness of the learner from the problem DB and presenting the same to the learner terminal.
