Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to: a reverse transcription (RT)-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primer set for detecting the Middle East respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus (MERS-CoV) capable of diagnosing the MERS-CoV; a positive control gene for a false positive test; a MERS-CoV detection kit including the same; and a detection method thereof. The primer set includes: a primer pair represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 and 7; a primer pair represented by SEQ ID NO: 10 and 12; and a primer pair represented by SEQ ID NO: 15 and 20. 본 발명은 중동호흡기증후군 코로나바이러스(Middle East respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus; MERS-CoV)를 진단할 수 있는 MERS-CoV 검출용 역전사(reverse transcription; RT)-중합효소연쇄반응(polymerase chain reaction; PCR) 프라이머 세트, 위양성 검정용 양성대조군유전자, 이를 포함하는 MERS-CoV 검출키트 및 검출방법에 관한 것이다.
