A cooktop of an induction heating method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: an upper plate part wherein an object to be heated is placed; an intermediate heating body installed on the upper plate part; a first working coil and a second working coil that generate a magnetic field passing through at least the object to be heated or the intermediate heating body; and an inverter part that controls a first direction of a first current flowing through the first working coil and a second direction of a second current flowing through the second working coil, wherein an area of a loop formed by a current induced in the intermediate heating body may be changed according to a type of object to be heated.
